What Happens at Your First Consultation

If picking up the phone feels like a big step, that's normal. A lot of people put off this call because they're worried about being judged or pushed into something. So here's exactly what to expect, start to finish.

It starts with a conversation, not a sales pitch. We'll ask about your situation: roughly where you stand on payments, what's been going on, and what you're hoping for. You don't need to have it all figured out, and you don't need perfect paperwork in hand.

We'll listen, and then we'll give you an honest read. Sometimes that means a short sale is a good fit and we explain how it would work. Sometimes it means a loan modification or another path makes more sense, and we'll tell you that even though it's not our service. We're not going to talk you into anything.

You won't be asked to pay anything or sign anything on that first call. There's no obligation to use us afterward. The point is simply for you to walk away knowing your options, even if you take a few weeks to decide.

Most people say the same thing after: they wish they'd called sooner, because the not-knowing was the hardest part. When you're ready, we're here.
